Over 10 days, we traveled to some of our favorite cities to bring our US Tour back for the second year. The 2018 goal was to up the ante on blog and social strategy, benchmarking, SEO, monetization and more – and we partnered with Planoly, Pinterest and Bumble Bizz to do just that! In our strategic thinking breakout workshop, we explored the importance of identity and responsibility as content creators. As an influencer, you have a responsibility towards both your audience and your personal brand to represent your values at every touchpoint, and with a purpose. Who else but an audience of leading publishers could stir the industry in the right direction?

During our strategic planning tactical workshop, we broke down the ranking factors you should care about when planning your editorial calendar and how to measure your success. We also turned SEO chores on their back with a fresh perspective: as creative positioning for your authority content.

Planoly

Team Planoly gave the low down on Instagram strategy and campaign management. Did you know that for every $1 a brand invests in Influencer Marketing, they get $6.50 back? This is why, as content creators, everyone needs to be fully clued up on the game and how to leverage their business through the platform and beyond.

The team also featured in-workshop keynotes from Adrianna Adarme (A Cozy Kitchen), Jules Hunt (Om In The City) and Sam Ushiro (Aww Sam) – with them giving their perspective on the industry and spilling all the info on how they’ve managed to dominate the scene. As one of the top referrals for blogs, we partnered with Pinterest to (really) show content creators how to use the platform for business growth and brand awareness. They unleashed a batch of exclusive features and broke down the must-haves for Pinners and the platform’s algorithm. Your secret weapon? Pinterest for business and claiming your website.

Bumble Bizz

Your network is your net worth, and Bumble Bizz was our exclusive networking partner – there to teach attendees all about the platform, how to create a profile, and how to use Bumble Bizz to form new business relationships – via their Bio Bar.
