Check the structure of your post, make sure you have links and images embedded, ask yourself if the paragraphs are too long or even too short and make sure your ideas are put into words and well delivered!
DOES MY POST SPEAK TO PEOPLE ON A HUMAN LEVEL?
Your readers are the people that have supported you since the very beginning and one of the main reasons of your success. The best way to thank them and show gratitude is by including emotional appeals in your posts. Most readers are curious about the private life of the blogger they so much follow, so reward them every now and then revealing personal information and writing posts that speak to them on a human level.
IS MY POST OFFERING SOMETHING NEW?
The blogging business is often defined as an over-saturated market so you really want your posts to stand out from the crowd. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to climb the Himalaya and write a post about it, but simply make sure that you’re always offering your readers your most honest and unique perspective. Original content is what brings traffic and keeps your business authentic.
AM I MEETING MY READERS’ EXPECTATIONS?
Now, this is a crucial question. The best way to fulfill your readers’ expectations is by being consistent: with your style, focus, and depth of content. Your readers have become loyal followers because they like your ideas and the way you deliver them. Always keep this in mind when writing a new post and always think about ways to implement your work to be sure to gauge your audience.
DOES MY POST OFFER READERS INTERACTION?
The best way to turn visitors into followers is by engaging with them. Your post can interact with them in several ways: it might reveal personal information that draw readers in and push them to comment; it could include a call to action (i.e. you might want to invite your readers to take part in a contest); it could end with an open-ended question. Interaction and engagement are fundamental in order to attract more readers and build your online authority.
