5 tools to help you manage your fashion blog on the go

One of the keys to achieving success from fashion blogging is to post consistently, even during heavy event times like fashion week, meaning you haven’t always got the time to sit at your computer and prepare a post. The good news is that thanks to the many tools and apps out there, you can now blog on the go! Here’s a rundown of our 5 favourite fashion blogging tools.

1.  WordPress for mobile –

We couldn’t start this list with any other tool than the WordPress mobile app. This app is an absolute essential for fashion bloggers, as it enables them to write posts, upload photos and manage comments on the go. It’s available for both iOS and Android and can be downloaded for free from the relevant app stores.

2.  Google Analytics for mobile –

Want to see how well your latest fashion blog post is performing? Download Google Analytics to your smartphone. This tool is great for viewing important blog analytics, such as page views and unique visits. You can also use it to see what people are searching for when they find your blog and which posts they engage with the most. It’s a must-have for managing your fashion blog on the go.

3. Hootsuite –

In order to grow your fashion blog, you’ll need to maintain an active social media presence. Unfortunately, life can sometimes get in the way of this but the good news is that you can simply schedule your tweets and Facebook updates using a tool called Hootsuite. 4. Afterlight –

Whilst we’re on the topic of photographs, if you want to be able to create fashion blog worthy images on the go, you’ll need to download Afterlight on your smartphone or tablet. Afterlight is basically a mini version of Photoshop that allows you to carry out a number of simple but effective edits. You can do everything from brightening and sharpening your smartphone snaps to applying beautiful filters. It provides an easy way to make your blog images more eye-catching.
