Whether you’ve just entered the business of blogging or you’re an established influencer, the word Bloglovin’ is not new to you.

This amazing platform is considered an almost Blogging Bible by all lifestyle out there, as it allows you to discover and subscribe to new blog crushes and start growing a dedicated audience of your own, getting your traffic curve up.

Morgan Kaye, VP of Community at Bloglovin’, knows it well as for the past year she’s been responsible for influencer partnerships, community growth, social media and support. And today, she’s givings us at chloédigital (aka you!) some exclusive insights into the amazing world of Bloglovin’ and its community.

Morgan joined the Bloglovin’ family only a year ago but for the past seven years she’s been actively working with influencers. “I’m extremely passionate about this quickly evolving digital landscape and I love working within the influencer market, as you can tell if you heard me speaking at the ALT Summit, Generation Beauty, or at my recently hosted Skillshare Course, From Blog To Business: Content Community, and Working with Brands,” she says.

Working with Bloglovin’ has made her realize how this platform is truly one of a kind and with no doubts the best digital space for any influencer looking to succeed.

“Our mission is to connect people with everyone that influences them and at the same time we also want to help influencers succeed,” she says.

“I strongly believe we’re fulfilling both of those goals on a daily basis. We’re connecting influencers with their engaged audiences and helping those influencers grow their own communities all while offering amazing branded opportunities. There’s no other platform like Bloglovin’!”

Bloglovin’s strength is also the diverse and loyal community that distinguishes it from any other platform available in the industry.  Whether you’re interested in beauty, sewing, DIY, food, etc. there is amazing content ready to be discovered and shared.

“We love how diverse our community is,” says Morgan. “Influencers have been using Bloglovin’ longer than they have Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat! We have such a loyal, engaged community that is rapidly expanding on a daily basis.”

Bloglovin’s incredible success is also based on the possibility it gives to bloggers to expand and interact with their community.

“Influencers should treat Bloglovin’ just as they would any other social platform. It’s a place to expand their community, grow a unique following, and obtain additional traffic. Followers can easily love, save, or share a post. The more loves and saves content receives, the easier it is for a blogger’s post to get picked up and further amplified across the platform.”

For an influencer this is extremely useful as it’s a great indicator for what content resonates with their audience. And of course, as Morgan suggests, it’s also crucial for bloggers to encourage their followers to engage with their content on Bloglovin’ too.

“We’re also working on some exciting new product features which will enhance the experience between the influencer and their followers, so stay tuned for those announcements!” she reveals.

“We love how diverse our community is. We have such a loyal, engaged community that is rapidly expanding on a daily basis”

For years Bloglovin’ has remained a top traffic source for many publishers and “we’ll continue to thrive in fulfilling that purpose for many years to come!” says Morgan. Bloglovin’ is constantly stepping up its game, finding new ways to meet influencers’ needs.

“With the launch of Activate by Bloglovin’, we are also now helping influencers monetize their blogs, YouTube channels, and respective social platforms. If you ask any influencer their two biggest initiatives in running their blog, more likely than not, they will say 1. Traffic & 2. Revenue Opportunities. Bloglovin’ is fulfilling both of those needs successfully which we’re beyond proud of.”

As every single aspect of the digital industry, the blogging business too is constantly evolving. When asked how she sees the industry going, Morgan says: “This year, we’ve really seen the emergence of the micro-influencer. The influencer pool is rapidly growing and more brands are choosing to invest, spending more of their marketing budgets on content creators. As a result, there is more opportunity for micro-influencers to easily collaborate with brands on paid opportunities.”

Morgan believes it’s now time for micro-influencers to make their mark within the influencer marketing community – as it’s those influencers who hold a powerful link to engaged followers and impressionable consumers.

“Large influencers will always have a place within the market but as the budgets for influencer programs expands, there will be more opportunities for a larger pool,” she concludes.

And we’re 100% sure that Bloglovin’ will be ready to channel all their needs and offer them a great opportunity to expand their community and market!

We hope you enjoyed Morgan’s insights and words of wisdom just as much as we did!!
